It will be different (but then again isn’t everything in 2020!) but Ribfest is back in Bathurst in an all new format! DETAILS BELOW – including menu and site map:
Please note photos of ribbers at the grill are from last year’s event.
The Rotary Club of Bathurst will be hosting a drive through RibFest on the 25th, 26th and 27th of September 2020.
1. We will have two ribbers this year;
Texas Rangers and,
Crabby BBQ Shack.
2. Open from 11 am to 8 pm on 25 and 26 September, and from 11 am to 6 pm on 27 September.
3. COVID 19 measures will be in place to protect your, and our, health.
4. Vehicles will need to depart the parking lot immediately after purchases are made.
5. The location for the Ribfest will be as in previous years, the parking lot between Harbourview Boulevard and Cunard St, Bathurst.
6. Menus for both ribbers are included with this post. It is suggested you decide what you wish to order beforehand. The ribbers will be accepting cash, debit and credit cards. All prices include taxes.
7. As the ribbers are not selling pop or water, Rotarians will be selling these at $2 each. CASH ONLY. Please have your toonies or correct change available so that we can expedite the traffic flow and reduce currency handling.
A traffic flow map has been added.
The Rotary Club of Bathurst wishes to extend a big thank our sponsors from previous years. Our success would not have been possible without your support.

Club President adds name to the list!
Bathurst Rotary Club President Peter Assaff adds his name to the plaque that lists all the Presidents in the history of the Bathurst Rotary Club. The list dates back over 80 years and is displayed at the Atlantic Host, where the club meets each week.
An interesting note – Peter joins his brother Keith on the board, as Keith was President of the Rotary Club of Bathurst a little over a decade ago. Their sister Vicki White is a proud member of the club too – maybe she’ll add her name to the list someday! All three follow in the footsteps of their Grandfather A.J. (Tony) Assaff, who was a member of the club more than 50 years ago.

Rotary Club of Bathurst members celebrated the first blooming of polio tulips planted in recognition of Rotary International’s initiative and commitment to End Polio.
250 polio tulips planted!
$36,000 raised across our District to help eradicate polio!
The donation helps Rotary obtain the vaccines, transport and materials necessary to combat Polio throughout the World.
Members of the Bathurst Rotary Club have been busy this summer working on our Community Garden!
Our crew planted beans, zucchini, carrots, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and cabbage.
A grateful thank you to Eastside Nursery, Carron Point for the generous donation of seeds and plants for, yet again, another year. Also, thanks to Nicole and Jim Duncan for the donated tomato plants and to Suzie Arseneault for the pepper plants.
We love our Garden!
